En el primer caso, se ha desarrollado un modelo que predice el spinning y el flat-band, para piezas de uno o varios di\u00e1metros. El modelo determina la fuerza a ejercer por la muela reguladora para evitar estos problemas e indica la velocidad de avance m\u00e1xima y la configuraci\u00f3n de trabajo \u00f3ptima para evitar este tipo de dificultades. En torno al da\u00f1ado t\u00e9rmico se ha desarrollado un modelo que captura la f\u00edsica del problema, ofreciendo al ratio de calor conducido a la pieza y su temperatura, tanto en procesos convencionales como en corte pleno. Asimismo se han desarrollado t\u00e9cnicas experimentales novedosas para medir la temperatura de pieza, obteni\u00e9ndose una buena correlaci\u00f3n con las predicciones del
