Mediante reaccion de tacp*c14 con alcoxidos alcalinos es posible aislar nuevos halo alcoxo complejos de tantalo de estequiometria tacp*c14-x(or)x.  la alquilacion de tacp*c14 con cuatro equivalentes de lich2sime3 transcurre con simultanea \u00ababstraccion- \u00bb de hidrogeno y eliminacion de ths, permitiendo aislar la especie alquilideno tacp*(ch2sime3)2 (chsime3). Este complejo reacciona con alcoholes aromaticos para dar alquil ariloxo de tantalo (v) y con 2,6-dimetilfenil-isocianuro para producir una especie iminoacilo. La alquilacion de tacp*c14 con 1,2 y 4 equivalentes de 2-((dimetilamino) fenil litio lleva a la obtencion de nuevos aril complejos de tantalo del tipo:  tacp*c13(c6h4(2-ch2nme2)), tacp*c12 (c6h4(2-ch2nme2)), tacp*(c6h4(2-ch2nme2)) (c6h4(2-ch2-nme2ch)).  las reacciones llevadas a cabo con tacp*c12(c6h4(2-ch2nmech2)) y las amidas de litio:  linme2, lin(sime3)2 y linhbu+, en proporciones molares 1:1 y 1:2 han permitido obtener derivados amido azafenilentantalacicloalquilos, cloro y amido azafenilentantalcicloalquilidenos e imido
