La activaci\u00f3n de esta v\u00eda induce una serie de respuestas que van a permitir la supervivencia celular en respuesta a estr\u00e9s. La regulaci\u00f3n g\u00e9nica constituye una respuesta clave para dicha supervivenvia. Se han descrito cinco factores de transcripci\u00f3n regulados por hog1 en respuesta a estr\u00e9s osm\u00f3tico. Sin embargo, \u00e9stos no pueden explicar la totalidad de los genes regulados por la mapk hog1. En el presente trabajo describimos c\u00f3mo el complejo transcripcional formado por las prote\u00ednas rtg1 y rtg3 regula, a trav\u00e9s de la quinasa hog1, la expresi\u00f3n de un conjunto espec\u00edfico de genes. Hog1 fosforila rtg1 y rtg3 , aunque ninguna de estas fosforilaciones son esenciales para regulaci\u00f3n transcripcional en respuesta a  estr\u00e9s. Este trabajo tambi\u00e9n muestra c\u00f3mo la deleci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas rtg provoca osmosensibilidad celular, lo que indica que la integridad de la v\u00eda de rtg es esencial para la
