Se estudian a 45 mujeres premenopausicas (edad media de 38.4+-9.1 a\u00f1os), a 20 postmenopausicas (edad media de 57.2+-7.5 a\u00f1os) y a 46 son vacones (edad media de 30.1+-13.9 a\u00f1os). En las medidas efectuadas las tres tecnicas tienen buena correlacion entre si (p&lt;0.001). Para el conjunto de los sujetos estudiados, por el test de kruskal-wallis, en los 3 compartimentos que miden directamente las 3 tecnicas utilizadas (% de mg, mg en kg y mlg en kg) hay diferencias significativas (p&lt;0.0001). Lo mismo ocurre (p&lt;0.0001) cuando se analizan unicamente a las mujeres en razon a su estado gonadal (pre y postmenopausicas). Cuando el conjunto se separa en razon al sexo (hombres y el conjunto de mujeres pre y postmenopausicas) sigue existiendo diferencia en las mujeres (p&lt;0.0001) y deja de ser significativa en los hombres (p=ns). Por el analisis de la varianza, la interactancia e impedancia nunca difieren entre si, en ninguna de las determinaciones efectuadas (p ns), cuando se analizan los sujetos en atencion a los grupos comentados anteriormente y si difieren en las mujeres cuando se comparan ambos con la densitometria. Lo que nos lleva a se\u00f1alar que la impedancia e interactancia, tanto en hombres como en mujeres, dan resultados superponibles en la determinacion del compartimento acuoso, graso y no graso, mientras que la densitometria de doble energia de rayos x, principalmente en mujeres, sobrevalora el comportamiento graso.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
