<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La electrogeneracion de bases (egbs) en acetona+perclorato de litio conduce a furanos o tetrahidropiranos; cuando se utilizan probases del tipo bromuros de fenacilo o alfa-bromocinamaldehido respectivamente.Por otro lado la reduccion catodica de este ultimo sustrato en medio protico proporciona tetrahidrofuranoles a traves de un acoplamiento cabeza-cola.Finalmente la reduccion electroquimica de compuestos dicarbonilicos mono-alfa-halogenados, como el 1,2-dibenzoilcloroetano; da productos dimericos ciclicos (ciclopentanoles) y de cadena abierta, los cuales son
