Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar las competencias biling\u00ed\u00bces de manera directa, pasando una serie de pruebas a una muestra de la poblaci\u00f3n objeto de estudio.  la importancia de la competencia biling\u00ed\u00bce en galicia est\u00e1 determinada por ley, ya que el legislador contempla que los alumnos acaben la ense\u00f1anza obligatoria con una competencia semejante y suficiente en ambas lenguas.  el marco te\u00f3rico y metodol\u00f3gico del trabajo est\u00e1 muy influido por el marco com\u00fan de referencia para las lenguas y los instrumentos elegidos, inspirados en estudios semejantes sobre otras situaciones, cumplen con el fin para el que fueron dise\u00f1ados.  los resultados indican que, en general, las competencias biling\u00ed\u00bces del universo elegido se encuentran dentro del nivel especificado por el marco para ese conjunto de poblaci\u00f3n y que las diferencias en la competencia entre una lengua y otra no son significativas. Otros resultados demuestran que existe una correlaci\u00f3n importante entre los niveles de competencia en una lengua y otra, y que no se demuestra incidencia de variables como sexo, lengua habitual olengua prevalente en la ense\u00f1anza. La explicaci\u00f3n para estos fen\u00f3menos podr\u00eda encontrarse en la escasa distancia ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstica que separa a este par de lenguas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
