El desarrollo de las nuevas mezclas constituidas por etanol, otros aditivos oxigenados e hidrocarburos -combustibles de nueva generaci\u00f3n- demandan una precisa caracterizaci\u00f3n de sus propiedades termodin\u00e1micas. Esta tesis doctoral aporta  un conocimiento experimental de las funciones termodin\u00e1micas de mezclas l\u00edquidas multicomponentes para su aplicaci\u00f3n a la producci\u00f3n, dise\u00f1o y utilizaci\u00f3n de combustibles de nueva generaci\u00f3n con componentes renovables. Para ello presenta dos nuevas t\u00e9cnicas de medida de estas propiedades: un calor\u00edmetro de flujo autom\u00e1tico con un rango de trabajo en temperatura de 253 &#8211; 423 k, y presiones hasta 20 mpa con una incertidumbre estimada en la medida de la capacidad calor\u00edfica isob\u00e1rica de \u00c2\u00b10.5 %; un dens\u00edmetro autom\u00e1tico capaz de medir entre 263-473 k y presiones hasta 70 mpa con una incertidumbre en la medida de la densidad de \u00c2\u00b10.7 kg\u00c2\u00bfm-3. Se han obtenido datos de capacidades calor\u00edficas de de siete especies puras y diez mezclas binarias discutiendo la propiedad de exceso derivada. Tambi\u00e9n se han medido densidades en siete compuestos puros y ocho mezclas binarias, estudiando sus vol\u00famenes de exceso. Esta tesis ha sido realizada y financiada en el marco del proyecto de plan nacional ene-2006-13349\/con, en el seno del laboratorio del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n termocal (termodin\u00e1mica y calibraci\u00f3n) del departamento de ingenier\u00eda energ\u00e9tica y fluidomec\u00e1nica de la universidad de valladolid, con dos estancias en el thermophysical properties laboratory, department of
