La presente tesis doctoral presenta una aplicaci\u00f3n de nanopart\u00edculas como inhibidores de la adhesi\u00f3n del virus de inmunodeficiencia humana (vih). En el presente trabajo se han desarrollado nuevas familias de gliconanopart\u00edculas de oro, funcionarizadas con oligosac\u00e1ridos de tipo \u00abhigh mannose\u00bb, que mimetizan la envoltura de carbohidratos del vih y est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas como inhibidores de la interacci\u00f3n entre el receptor dc-sign y la glicoprote\u00edna gp120, que constituye una etapa clave en la transmisi\u00f3n del vih por v\u00eda sexual. Nuestro dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n se han validado mediante experimentos de inhibici\u00f3n de la interacci\u00f3n dc-sign\/gp120 mediante el uso de biosensores, confirmando la afinidad de las mismas por la prote\u00edna dc-sign. Con estos sistemas se han realizado experimentos biol\u00f3gicos de inhibici\u00f3n de la trans-infecci\u00f3n, de citotoxicidad y de respuesta celular. Los experimentos in vitro, utilizando un modelo que simula las condiciones naturales de la trans-infecci\u00f3n del vih mediante el uso de virus recombinantes y c\u00e9lulas dendr\u00edticas de humano. Los resultados obtenidos confirman nuestras nanopart\u00edculas como una buena herramienta en la inhibici\u00f3n de la trans-infecci\u00f3n del vih y abre nuevas perspectivas en el desarrollo de nuevas herramientas terap\u00e9uticas de tipo microbicida para luchar contra la infecci\u00f3n por vih<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
