Se sustent\u00f3 en un marco te\u00f3rico conceptual de corte constructivista, tomando en cuenta las aportaciones de los iniciadores de estos enfoques. As\u00ed como las propuestas de modelos de ense\u00f1anza de diferentes disciplinas. Se aplic\u00f3 un dise\u00f1o no experimental de tipo descriptivo correlacional. Los datos se procesaron y analizaron por medio del programa spss para windows versi\u00f3n 15.0. A trav\u00e9s de la estad\u00edstica descriptiva se presentan tablas de frecuencia, promedios y porcentajes. Se aplic\u00f3 la prueba estad\u00edstica no param\u00e9trica ji cuadrado para establecer la asociaci\u00f3n entre las variables categ\u00f3ricas que describen las caracter\u00edsticas de los sujetos  de estudio y las variables que muestran los modelos de ense\u00f1anza que aplican los profesores. Se determin\u00f3 que la identificaci\u00f3n con los modelos de ense\u00f1anza de los profesores, var\u00eda seg\u00fan el \u00e1rea de conocimiento en donde ubican la disciplina que ense\u00f1an, se comprob\u00f3 que pertenecer a cierta disciplina o \u00e1rea de conocimiento influye para que el docente instrumente y lleve a cabo su quehacer educativo de manera
