El estudio ha tenido un caracter exploratorio intentando analizar el papel que juegan los diferentes mecanismos organizativos de las diversas disciplinas tratadas en el proceso de control.  la investigacion realizada ha revisado las contribuciones realizadas en la literatura del absentismo laboral, con el objeto de desarrollar un modelo conceptual integrativo que permita ser aplicado a las empresas. A su vez, ha permitido profundizar en el conocimiento de las caracteristicas del fenomeno estudiado, asi como, desarrollar el propio marco conceptual. Para ello se ha llevado a cabo una investigacion empirica aplicada a una empresa del sector vidrio y ceramica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
