La limitaci\u00f3n principal para el empleo industrial de las t\u00e9cnicas de separaci\u00f3n por membranas esel ensuciamiento de \u00e9stas.El ensuciamiento se atribuye, de forma general, a la reducci\u00f3n en el di\u00e1metro de los poros, a su bloqueo y\/o a la formaci\u00f3n de un dep\u00f3sito en la superficie de la membrana. El avance en el desarrollo de t\u00e9cnicas para la caracterizaci\u00f3n, el control y la prevenci\u00f3n del ensuciamiento de las membranas ha estado limitado por la falta de t\u00e9cnicas adecuadas y no invasivas para la medici\u00f3n del ensuciamiento. El objetivo principal del ensuciamiento de membranas de filtraci\u00f3n, centr\u00e1ndose en el ensuciamiento causado por macromol\u00e9culas biol\u00f3gicas. En la tesis se han llevado a cabo experimentos de microfiltraci\u00f3n (mf) de soluciones modelo puras y de mezclas de prote\u00ednas, polisac\u00e1ridos y polifenoles. Las im\u00e1genes captadas mediante cslm de las membranas al final de diferentes experimentos de filtraci\u00f3n, han servido para obtener informaci\u00f3n cualitativa, sobre localizaci\u00f3n de las distintas mol\u00e9culas, y cuantitativa, sobre la presencia individual de cada compuesto en el interior  y la superficie de la membrana. Se han realizado tambi\u00e9n intentos de aplicaci\u00f3n de visualizaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea mediante cslm del proceso de microfiltraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
