Hemos dise\u00f1ado y desarrollado nuevos dispositivos que permiten realizar medidas en rangos de temperatura comprendidos entre los 10 k y los 700 k, ampliando considerablemente el intervalo de temperaturas en el que este tipo de sistemas puede medir. Nuestro trabajo se centra en el estudio del comportamiento cr\u00edtico de las propiedades t\u00e9rmicas de muestras monocristalinas, es decir, de la evoluci\u00f3n de dichas propiedades en rangos de temperatura en los que el material presenta una transici\u00f3n de fase. Mediante el an\u00e1lisis de los exponentes cr\u00edticos logrados tras ajustar los resultados experimentales con diversos modelos te\u00f3ricos, conseguimos informaci\u00f3n sobre el orden de la transici\u00f3n analizada y sobre la clase de universalidad a la que pertenece. En esta tesis hemos presentado los resultados obtenidos del estudio de las transiciones de fase de materiales antiferromagn\u00e9ticos (kmnf3, manganitas, rb2cof4 y mon\u00f3xidos de metales de transici\u00f3n) y materiales  ferroel\u00e9ctricos (pb5ge3o11 y sn2p2s6). De todos ellos hemos aportado nuevos datos sobre sus transiciones de fase y nueva informaci\u00f3n sobre las caracter\u00edsticas del comportamiento cr\u00edtico de sus propiedades
