En este contexto encontramos la recientemente descrita familia irem\/cd300 localizada en la regi\u00f3n cromos\u00f3mica 17q25.1 y restringida en expresi\u00f3n a las c\u00e9lulas de origen mieloide. El locus humano se compone de dos genes codificantes para receptores con propiedades inhibidoras (irp60\/cd300a y irem-1\/cd300f), dos genes codificantes para receptores con naturaleza activadora (irem-2\/cd300e y irem-3\/cd300b) y dos genes codificantes para receptores con caracter\u00edsticas que no permiten su inclusi\u00f3n en ninguno de los anteriores grupos (cmrf-35\/cd300c and irem-4\/cd300d). El presente trabajo describimos la caracterizaci\u00f3n molecular del receptor irem-3\/cd300b, las v\u00edas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n intracelular utilizadas por esta mol\u00e9cula y la relaci\u00f3n
