La gen\u00e9tica de ambas enfermedades esta liderada por los genes hla (antigeno leucocitario humano) en el cromosoma 6p21, pero parece que hay muchos m\u00e1s genes implicados en su patog\u00e9nesis, todav\u00eda sin identificar. En el presente proyecto se han analizado dos familias de genes de la respuesta inmune innata: los genes tlr (toll-like receptor) y los genes killer-cell immunoglobulin-like receptor (kir) para testar su posible contribuci\u00f3n al riesgo gen\u00e9tico de ambas enfermedades. Adem\u00e1s, se ha analizado la regi\u00f3n del complejo mayor de histocompatibilidad (mhc) para identificar variantes de riesgo adicionales e independientes de los alelos hla de riesgo dr3-dq2 y dr4-dq8, que puedan modular el riesgo conferido por los diferentes haplotipos hla. se ha encontrado asociaci\u00f3n positiva entre un miembro (kir2dl5b) de la familia de genes kir  y la susceptibilidad a cd, sin embargo no se ha demostrado asociaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica entre los genes tlr y ninguna de las dos enfermedades analizadas, ni entre los genes kir y t1d. Por \u00faltimo, se han encontrado variantes de riesgo adicionales a cd y t1d en la regi\u00f3n del mhc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Search for
