Por ello, se estudia la caracterizaci\u00f3n fitoclim\u00e1tica de las nueve especies aut\u00f3ctonas de inter\u00e9s forestal del g\u00e9nero quercus l. En la espa\u00f1a peninsular, as\u00ed como del propio g\u00e9nero seg\u00fan su estructura fisiogn\u00f3mica. Se aporta una propuesta metodol\u00f3gica de caracterizaci\u00f3n fitoclim\u00e1tica con capacidad interpretativa basada en an\u00e1lisis estad\u00edsticos multivariantes. Se seleccionan las estaciones meteorol\u00f3gicas incluidas en la corolog\u00eda de cada especie, se calculan los valores de 63 par\u00e1metros fitoclim\u00e1ticos y sobre las matrices de datos obtenidas se aplican an\u00e1lisis de clasificaci\u00f3n, discriminantes y de componentes principales. Se establecen los \u00e1mbitos de existencia fitoclim\u00e1tica de las especies y se interpretan cada uno de los grupos espec\u00edficos resultantes en funci\u00f3n de las variables discriminantes que los caracterizan. La ventaja de esta metodolog\u00eda consiste en la detecci\u00f3n de caracter\u00edsticas clim\u00e1ticas homog\u00e9neas dentro de un taxon, obteni\u00e9ndose entre otros, resultados tan novedosos como la localizaci\u00f3n de los \u00f3ptimos fitoclim\u00e1ticos de las especies, un fundamento fitoclim\u00e1tico que podr\u00eda explicar la distribuci\u00f3n de las subespecies quercus ilex subsp. Ilex y q. Faginea subsp. Broteroi, o la justificaci\u00f3n fitoclim\u00e1tica de la posici\u00f3n intermedia de la estrategia marcescente entre la caducifolia y la esclerofilia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
