Rechaza el conocimiento intuitivo de dios en la situacion actual del hombre.  participa del aprecio por la intuicion que caracteriza a los maestros franciscanos. La intuicion es un modo del conocimiento intelectual, ya que el ser humano esta destinado a la vision de dios. Dicha vision solo es posible si el entendimiento se desliga de la materia. La dependencia actual que impide la vision es una circunstancia accidental y extra\u00f1a a la naturaleza del entendimiento. Rechaza las propuestas ockhamistas de la intuicion de lo que no existe. El intelecto humano no esta capacitado para intuir una cosa si no existe in re.  las criaturas llevan la marca del creador, esa huella permite el conocimiento abstracto de dios. Solo a traves de la voluntad el hombre puede unirse a dios.
