La investigaci\u00f3n presenta dos l\u00edneas de desarrollo, ya mencionadas: a) la construcci\u00f3n de una historia cultural que considera poder y libertad con relaci\u00f3n al campo del arte, en su vinculaci\u00f3n necesaria con, b) la conceptualizaci\u00f3n y formas institucionales de la educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica en espacios de lo p\u00fablico. Se parte de una perspectiva cr\u00edtica centrada en la historia cultural y las principales condiciones relacionadas con el discurso acerca de la funci\u00f3n del arte y de la educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, considerando la diferencia entre la construcci\u00f3n del sujeto artista, en tanto productor de arte, y la del sujeto de la educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, en tanto educando. en funci\u00f3n de lo anterior, se propone una conclusi\u00f3n fundamental: el discurso de la educaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica construy\u00f3 cuatro tipos principales de sujetos de la educaci\u00f3n: sujeto bio-productivo; evolutivo-experiencial; trascendente-universal; y creativo-expresivo. en cada momento a lo largo de las d\u00e9cadas estudiadas, se superpondr\u00e1n aquellos sujetos educativo-art\u00edsticos con mayor o menor influencia, desde los enunciados art\u00edsticos, filos\u00f3ficos y educativos que los sustentan y construyen. Todos estos sujetos sostienen a su forma la modernidad y la b\u00fasqueda de un individuo que gen\u00e9ricamente fuera responsable y comprometidamente capaz de encarar las consecuencias colectivas de
