Un objetivo principal es analizar las estrategias de promotores deportivos para ofertar posibilidad de comunicacion, y las que promueven las empresas para explotar comercialmente esas posibilidades. Se analizan las estructuras de gestion de patrocinios, los recursos -humanos, economicos&#8230;- Destinados a su explotacion, los modos narrativos elegidos por los patrocinadores. Como lineas secundarias se estudiaron los componentes de caracter economico y su proyeccion social.  la investigacion tiene dos partes. La primera agrupa los tres capitulos iniciales, que enmarcan el patrocinio en el ambito del marketing. La segunda parte analiza el patrocinio en diferentes ambitos del deporte organizado.  en cuanto a eventos de repercusion mundial se estudian los juegos olimpicos. Por lo que ata\u00f1e a ambitos nacionales, la atencion se centra en el deporte-espectaculo espa\u00f1ol.
