La aplicacion inmediata de este estudio consiste en lograr que un sistema de vision pueda ser empleado como un sensor mas dentro de una arquitectura hardware encargada de controlar un brazo flexible de robot. Para ello, se estudian los algoritmos de deteccion de bordes mas conocidos. Los criterios tenidos en cuenta para la seleccion de los mismos son los siguientes: que permitan filtrar la se\u00f1al mientras encuentran los bordes, que tengan un costo computacional bajo, que puedan ser implantados en arquitecturas hardware, que detecten y localicen con relativa sencillez y precision. Con ello, se dise\u00f1a primeramente un nuevo filtro, y se altera despues su estructura para hacerlo implantable en hardware. Se establecen los pasos a seguir para convertir sus coeficientes a valores enteros.  asimismo, se proponen criterios para discriminar informacion de la imagen que no va a ser empleada. Se proponen y evaluan distintas configuracion que generan variantes en el hardware final. Se determina una configuracion final que permite su implantacion hardware.  por ultimo se propone el hardware, compuesto por componentes disponibles en el mercado, que puede ser empleado en el calculo
