Con \u00e9l, intentan reflejar la idea de una metodolog\u00eda dise\u00f1ada para sintetizar un gran n\u00famero de compuestos qu\u00edmicos a partir de un peque\u00f1o n\u00famero de reactivos, con el objetivo de descubrir compuestos de la forma m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y barata posible. Sin embargo, la diversidad, versatilidad, econom\u00eda y rapidez no es privativa de la qu\u00edmica combinatoria. en esta tesis la diversidad y versatilidad se ha conseguido en la medida que uno de los substratos, las b-aminoenonas, b-enaminoesteres o b-enaminonitrilos, son precursores regioselectivos de una gran variedad de heterociclos y, por otra parte, se han preparado intermedios modificados en los que cada uno de ellos da paso a una serie de intermedios cl\u00e1sicos. Combinando ambos factores se logra rapidez y econom\u00eda, aspectos muy interesantes en la preparaci\u00f3n de librer\u00edas de compuestos con posible actividad biol\u00f3gica. As\u00ed, a partir de sistemas enamin\u00f3nicos portadores de cadenas funcionarizadas por amidas de weinreb, y mediante la transformaci\u00f3n selectiva de dicha amida sin alterar el sistema enamin\u00f3nico, se han obtenido amplias librer\u00edas de pirroles y piridinas. al margen de los estudios anteriores, los b-enaminonitrilos se han mostrado como sustratos adecuados en la preparaci\u00f3n de 2,3,4,7-tetrahidro[1,4]tiazepinas a trav\u00e9s de reacciones expansivas. Tambi\u00e9n han sido utilizados en la preparaci\u00f3n de 3,7,8,8a-tetrahidrotiazolo[3,2-a]piridina, pero su inter\u00e9s sint\u00e9tico ha sido limitado en la medida que la diastereoselectividad no
