Esta tesis estudia cuales son los valores culturales que la television contribuye a propagar y mediante que mecanismos y acciones psicologicas lo hace.  la tesis se divide en dos partes. La primera consta de cuatro capitulos y recoge, bajo el rotulo \u00abmodelos publicitarios\u00bb un desarrollo teorico sobre las distintas estrategias que ha utilizado la publicidad para acercarse al consumidor: el modelo racional, el modelo comportamental, el modelo motivacionista y el modelo social. En la segunda parte, se estudian los \u00abvalores culturales en la publicidad televisiva espa\u00f1ola\u00bb y enfoca las valoraciones y significaciones subyacentes en los anuncios de television. Consta de cuatro capitulos.
