Teresa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La respuesta de fase de actividad (rfa), detectada por la cuantificacion serica de las proteinas reactantes de fase aguda (aprps), se usa para el diagnostico y pronostico de procesos inflamatorios. Menos estudiada esta en tumores malignos, y existen otras actividades sericas posiblemente relacionadas. En este trabajo realizamos la cuantificacion serica en 33 pacientes con carcinoma de colon, al diagnostico y en su evolucion de 24 meses, de los aprps alfa-1-antitripsina (aat), alfa-2-macroglobulina (amg) y ceruloplasmina (cp), junto a actividades tipo tripsina, elastasa y catepsina b, dienos conjugados, cu, zn, fe, cea y ca 19.9, dividiendo a los enfermos en 1 grupo que fallecio durante el estudio y otro superviviente. Como controles utilizamos 18 sujetos sanos. Al diagnostico se elevaron aat, tripsina, elastasa, cp, dienos, cu y ca 19.9, con descenso de amg y zn. Al final del estudio, los fallecidos presentaron 1 incremento significativo sobre los controles y supervivientes de aat, elastasa, cea y ca 19.9, con descenso del zn. Los supervivientes normalizaron la aat y amg y en ambos grupos permanecieron elevados cp, dienos y cu. La determinacion paralela de otros parametros habituales mostro, al final de la evolucion en los fallecidos, un aumento de vsg, alfa-1 y alfa-2 globulinas. Todo ello confirma el comportamiento de estas aprps, inducidas por citoquinas o sustancias tumorales, y su posible valor diagnostico y pronostico en esta patolog\u00eda.
