En esta tesis se han propuesto nuevos metodos para la estimacion del biespectro de un proceso aleatorio mediante modelacion autoregresiva (ar) que permiten, en general, mejorar los resultados de metodos previos. En concreto se han propuesto los siguientes metodos: pre- y postventaneado, metodos de segmentacion acoplada y el metodo de los coeficientes de reflexion. Asi mismo la memoria ha abordado el problema de la estimacion de exponenciales complejas amortiguadas, proponiendose una generalizacion del metodo de prony al dominio biespectral y un nuevo estimador para el metodo de kumaresan-tufts biespectral. Finalmente se ha llevado una aplicacion de las tecnicas biespectrales para la discriminacion de blancos de radar mediante la tecnica del pulso de extincion (e-pulso), lo cual permite mejorar con
