En las estimaciones de actividad mediante esta t\u00e9cnica, es necesario conocer la eficiencia de detecci\u00f3n del sistema en el pico de absorci\u00f3n total, la cual depende de la energ\u00eda de los fotones, la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de la muestra, su densidad y la geometr\u00eda de medida. La determinaci\u00f3n experimental de la eficiencia requiere entonces de un n\u00famero considerable de muestras patrones. Por ello, con frecuencia se utilizan herramientas de c\u00e1lculo como opci\u00f3n alternativa para estimar las eficiencias de detecci\u00f3n. Aunque han sido publicados numerosos procedimientos semi-emp\u00edricos, su validez est\u00e1 limitada a determinadas geometr\u00edas del sistema muestra &#8211; detector y a rangos espec\u00edficos de energ\u00eda. En este sentido, el empleo de los m\u00e9todos num\u00e9ricos de simulaci\u00f3n por monte carlo se ofrece como una soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s flexible.       los programas de simulaci\u00f3n por monte carlo disponibles comercialmente son c\u00f3digos muy generalistas, cuya aplicaci\u00f3n requiere de habilidades de programaci\u00f3n, del estudio previo de complejas reglas para la creaci\u00f3n de sus archivos de datos y de los m\u00e9todos de la simulaci\u00f3n estad\u00edstica. El objetivo de la tesis ha sido entonces el desarrollo de un c\u00f3digo espec\u00edfico, r\u00e1pido y de f\u00e1cil manejo, para facilitar la aplicaci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo de monte carlo en
