Existe una gran diversidad de ensayos para su cuantificacion; cada uno presenta una serie de ventajas e incovenientes, pero ninguno puede ser considerado como ideal. La turbidimetria esta adquiriendo gran importancia en la medida de apolipoproteinas y de proteinas sericas, y creemos que puede llegar a ser un metodo con grandes prespectivas en la cuantificacion de lipoproteina (a).  nosotros proponemos un metodo inmunoturbidimetrico que usa microparticulas de latex de un diametro de 100 nm., A las que se ha fijado un anticuerpo propio obtenido en conejos sensibilizados con lipoproteia (a). En paralelo, se presentan alternativas tecnicas obtenidas por modificacion del tama\u00f1o de las particulas de latex y del tipo de anticuerpo.
