En levaduras y otros hongos, la meiosis da lugar a estructuras de resistencia que permitir\u00e1n a la c\u00e9lula sobrevivir en condiciones ambientales adversas.  durante la profase mei\u00f3tica de la levadura de fisi\u00f3n schizosaccharomyces pombe existe un movimiento nuclear \u00fanico (horse-tail movement) en el que el n\u00facleo se mueve de un extremo a otro de la c\u00e9lula para facilitar el apareamiento de los cromosomas hom\u00f3logos y la recombinaci\u00f3n, lo que contribuye a que se produzca la correcta segregaci\u00f3n de los cromosomas durante la meiosis. Durante este movimiento, el n\u00facleo es conducido por el cuerpo polar del huso (spb, equivalente a centrosoma de mam\u00edferos) y arrastrado por los microt\u00fabulos astrales que irradian de \u00e9ste de forma dependiente de la actividad de la prote\u00edna motora de microt\u00fabulos, dine\u00edna. Para que la dine\u00edna genere la tensi\u00f3n necesaria para que el microt\u00fabulo arrastre al n\u00facleo tiene que estar anclada al c\u00f3rtex celular, a trav\u00e9s del complejo dinactina.  el trabajo presentado en esta memoria se ha centrado en el estudio de los genes mug1+, mug5+ y arp1+ cuya deleci\u00f3n provoca un claro defecto de recombinaci\u00f3n y de segregaci\u00f3n mei\u00f3tica. Mug1, mug5 y arp1 son prote\u00ednas necesarias y esenciales para que se produzca el movimiento de horse-tail en s. Pombe. Los estudios realizados en esta tesis indican que estas tres prote\u00ednas son subunidades del complejo dinactina que solo es activo cuando est\u00e1 completo. El anclaje del complejo al c\u00f3rtex y el movimiento retr\u00f3grado de la dine\u00edna a lo largo de los microt\u00fabulos ejerce la fuerza de tiro del n\u00facleo y permite su desplazamiento de un
