Por una parte se han analizado los aceros constituyentes de una caldera de grandes dimensiones, el acero a515 g70 y la soldadura, para los cuales se han caracterizado los procesos de nucleacion y de propagacion de grietas por fatiga (curvas ciclicas y de vida, ecuacion de paris, y umbral de fatiga), y se ha cuantificado el cierre de grieta. En todos los casos se ha evaluado la influencia de distintas variables (r,t, orientacion,..). Se ha estudiado tambien la propagacion de grietas en dos aceros microaleados de forja (al ti y ti-v). Por otro lado, se ha estudiado el comportamiento a fractura de distintas microestructuras obtenidas mediante diferentes tratamientos termomecanicos aplicados a aceros microaleados de forja (al ti y al ti-v). Ademas de cuantificar la tenacidad de dichas microestructuras, se ha realizado un exhaustivo analisis fractogrfico que ha permitido establecer correlaciones entre los micromecanismos de fractura y la microestructura. Se han determinado los parametros microestructurales responsables de la activacion de la fractura fragil en estos aceros, gracias a lo cual ha sido posible optimizar la microestructura, obteniendo para los mismos niveles de resistencia una mejor tenacidad a temperatura ambiente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Influencia de los tratamientos
