Posee 8 exones, tiene un tama\u00f1o de 90 kb. El ex\u00f3n 1, posee dos regiones polim\u00f3rficas: un tracto repetitivo cag (poligutamina) con un n\u00famero variable de repeticiones que oscila entre 16 y 45 y un tracto ggn (poliglicina) con un n\u00famero variable que oscila entre 14 y 36 repeticiones. objetivos: 1.- Esclarecer cual es el papel de los andr\u00f3genos, en c\u00e1nceres hormonodependientes (endometrio, mama y pr\u00f3stata).   2.- Investigar si existe alguna relaci\u00f3n entre los polimorfismos de ra y diversos par\u00e1metros metab\u00f3licos. 3.- Dilucidar si los polimorfismos del ra influyen en el desarrollo de la masa muscular y en la condici\u00f3n f\u00edsica  4.- Averiguar el papel que juegan los micrornas, como nuevas mol\u00e9culas que regulan la expresi\u00f3n  g\u00e9nica a nivel post-transcripcional, en pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de mama. conclusiones: 1.- Las pacientes con  c\u00e1ncer de endometrio, con alelos cortos de los tractos cag\/ggn, poseen tumores menos agresivos, con una mayor supervivencia de \u00e9stas.  2.- Las pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de mama que poseen una combinaci\u00f3n de alelos largos de los tractos cag\/ggn, tienen m\u00e1s riesgo de padecer la enfermedad que aquellas con alelos cortos. 3.- Los pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata, que poseen una combinaci\u00f3n alelos cortos de los tractos cag\/ggn,  presentan  formas m\u00e1s agresivas de la enfermedad. 4.- Los tractos largos cag protegen a las mujeres de desarrollar dislipemia y los tractos a largos ggn protegen a los hombres de padecer  resistencia insul\u00ednica. 5.- La longitud de los polimorfismos cag\/ggn influyen en la masa, fuerza muscular, y en el rendimiento f\u00edsico. La combinaci\u00f3n de tractos cortos cag\/ggn, favorece particularmente, el rendimiento f\u00edsico de las mujeres. 6.- Altos niveles de expresi\u00f3n de hsa-mir-30a-3p, hsa-mir -30c o hsa-mir -182
