{"id":9395,"date":"1995-01-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"1995-01-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/1995\/01\/01\/the-catholic-methods-of-evangelization-in-east-africa-nineteeth-to-twentieth-century\/"},"modified":"1995-01-01T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"1995-01-01T00:00:00","slug":"the-catholic-methods-of-evangelization-in-east-africa-nineteeth-to-twentieth-century","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/historia\/the-catholic-methods-of-evangelization-in-east-africa-nineteeth-to-twentieth-century\/","title":{"rendered":"The catholic methods of evangelization in east africa nineteeth to twentieth century."},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Tesis doctoral de <strong> James Macharia <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Todos los misioneros catolicos en africa del este: kenya, uganda y tanzania, utilizaron metodos bastante parecidos de evangelizacion, pero con las siguientes diferencias:  a) tuvieron distintas procedencias y carismas fundacionales; b) en cada pais donde evangelizaron jugaron papeles distintos los poderes coloniales civiles; c) la gente local que fueron evangelizadas, tuvieron sus caracteristicas tambien peculiares; como resumen global, podriamos decir, que la evangelizacion de los misioneros en el africa del este, tuvieron exito, gracias especialmente a las construcciones de escuelas, hospitales, dispensarios, centros de manualidades, la traduccion de la biblia a los idiomas locales. A la vez, fue dificultada por las tristes realidades del mercado esclavos, algunas practicas desacertadas por parte del patronato real postugues, y el fenomeno simultaneo del colonianismo, con sus actividades de comercio e intercambio mezcladas con un tipo de imperialismo cultural que no aprecio suficientemente los valores culturales y las tradiciones religiosas e instituciones de cada
