Se indagar\u00e1 a trav\u00e9s de ellas, ya no s\u00f3lo la posibilidad o no de la mujer dandy, sino la confirmaci\u00f3n desde la ortodoxia de los textos originales que el dandysmo desde su fundaci\u00f3n, equipar\u00f3 a hombres y a mujeres, a mujeres no normalizadas por la supuesta optimizaci\u00f3n burguesa, y se construy\u00f3 \u00e9l mismo contra la idea de g\u00e9nero. Un contrag\u00e9nero donde el dandy,  el artista de la vida moderna, es una mujer en ciertos aspectos, y la dandy, la artista de la vida moderna, ser\u00e1 un hombre en ciertos aspectos. Es por ello que las dandys romper\u00e1n la dicotom\u00eda entre los g\u00e9neros, pero, y adem\u00e1s, romper\u00e1n la distinci\u00f3n entre aquellos objetos que pod\u00edan, sin duda, ser considerados arte y aquellos que no, pues para ellas, su arte no ser\u00e1 otra cosa que su vida, su misma auto-construcci\u00f3n, su aristocr\u00e1tico yo-como-arte. Ese yo-como-arte, prefabricado, decidido y previsto, inaugurar\u00e1 cierto accionismo que leeremos como proto-historia del performance, un g\u00e9nero \u00e9ste cuyos or\u00edgenes encontramos en estas vidas conscientemente teatralizadas que inauguran la modernidad. En todas estas acciones, en este hacerse heroico en una sociedad en decadencia, se ver\u00e1 la verdadera actitud de la modernidad. Ser\u00e1 pues esta rebeld\u00eda metaf\u00edsica, esta negatividad acumulada primero y desplegada despu\u00e9s, la que permitir\u00e1 incluir a estas dandys dentro de la autonom\u00eda moderna, una
