El primero es un modelo num\u00e9rico que resuelve las ecuaciones diferenciales del sistema, para obtener las variables de estado y los par\u00e1metros de funcionamiento del ciclo. El segundo es un modelo te\u00f3rico derivado de la termodin\u00e1mica de tiempos finitos (ttf) que caracterizando las principales fuentes de irreversibilidad aproxima los resultados de los par\u00e1metros de funcionamiento a valores cualitativamente realistas. Utilizando las simulaciones num\u00e9ricas se determinan adem\u00e1s los par\u00e1metros que deben modificarse para obtener resultados cuantitativamente realistas con el modelo te\u00f3rico. Tambi\u00e9n, se hace un estudio de optimizaci\u00f3n del sistema, mediante la simulaci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica, pero utilizando herramientas te\u00f3ricas de ttf. Por \u00faltimo, se propone una mejora al modelo num\u00e9rico para que \u00e9ste reproduzca el fen\u00f3meno de variabilidad ciclo a ciclo com\u00fanmente presente en este tipo de m\u00e1quinas
