En este sentido, uno de los requisitos es disponer de materiales conductores mixtos que puedan ser utilizados como c\u00e1todos a temperaturas de operaci\u00f3n, entre 550-800\u00c2\u00bac. los \u00f3xidos mixtos con estructura tipo perovskita de f\u00f3rmula general la1-xsrxfeo3 presentan buenas propiedades como c\u00e1todos conductores mixtos empleados en pilas de combustible de \u00f3xido s\u00f3lido. Se han realizado diversos trabajos preliminares, en los que se ha determinado que estos materiales reaccionan con el electrolito convencional de ysz, generan fases que aumentan la resistencia de polarizaci\u00f3n y empeoran, por lo tanto, los potenciales de los c\u00e1todos. Como soluci\u00f3n a este problema, se ha propuesto incluir una intercapa entre el material empleado como c\u00e1todo y el electrolito, con objeto de disminuir las reacciones en estado s\u00f3lido que tienen lugar y, por lo tanto, mejorar la respuesta electroqu\u00edmica del sistema. el objetivo principal de la investigaci\u00f3n mostrada en esta memoria es estudiar los procesos que ocurren en la interfase electrolito-c\u00e1todo as\u00ed como la influencia de la barrera de ceria dopada con samaria entre el electrolito y el c\u00e1todo. Una vez estudiadas las interacciones y principales efectos de dicha barrera, se ha realizado un proceso de optimizaci\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros tales como la microestructura, porosidad y
