La industria cinematogr\u00e1fica no pod\u00eda quedarse atr\u00e1s. Gran parte de los procesos en las fases de preproducci\u00f3n, producci\u00f3n y postproducci\u00f3n son digitales. Los eslabones finales del cine, la distribuci\u00f3n y la exhibici\u00f3n, hab\u00edan resistido la ofensiva tecnol\u00f3gica, pero finalmente, se est\u00e1 transformando para dar paso al cine digital. el presente trabajo se enfoca en esta transici\u00f3n. Desde los aspectos tecnol\u00f3gicos como son las tecnolog\u00edas empleadas en los proyectores digitales, servidores, la proyecci\u00f3n estereosc\u00f3pica y los est\u00e1ndares para definir al nuevo medio. As\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n analizar las ventajas operativas y las implicaciones econ\u00f3micas que se derivan del empleo de \u00e9ste sistema. abstract the audiovisual sector has been in constant evolution. The cinematographic industry could not remain behind. Much of the processes in the stages of preproduction, production and postproduction are now digitals. the links end of the cinema, the distribution and the exhibition had resisted the technological offensive, but finally, the cinema this becoming to give rise to the digital cinema. the present dissertation focuses on this transition. From the technological aspects such as technologies employed in the digital projectors, servers, the stereoscopic projection, and standards to define the new media.
