La secuenciaci\u00f3n es generalmente realizada por instructores, que crean cursos para perfiles gen\u00e9ricos en lugar de contenido personalizado. Esta tesis doctoral propone un nuevo modelo de informaci\u00f3n para enmarcar ambos procesos y una aproximaci\u00f3n evolutiva para automatizar el segundo proceso, mientras que simult\u00e1neamente, impulsa la reutilizaci\u00f3n y la interoperabilidad promocionando el uso de est\u00e1ndares. Se propone un modelo que posibilita la secuenciaci\u00f3n curricular autom\u00e1tica. Por medio de registros interoperables de competencias y de metadatos asociados a los objetos docentes, el problema de secuenciaci\u00f3n queda transformado en un problema de satisfacci\u00f3n de restricciones. Se presentan el dise\u00f1o, construcci\u00f3n y pruebas, tanto en entornos reales como simulados, realizadas con dos agentes inteligentes creados para resolver el problema. Se trata de un agente que emplea la t\u00e9cnica de optimizaci\u00f3n mediante enjambre de part\u00edculas y de otro que emplea un algoritmo gen\u00e9tico. Los resultados muestran que ambos agentes tienen \u00e9xito en todos los casos de pruebas, y que manejan razonablemente la complejidad computacional inherente a este problema, pero el agente mediante enjambre de part\u00edculas ofrece mejor rendimiento que el agente mediante algoritmo gen\u00e9tico.    the process of creating e-learning contents using reusable learning objects (los) can be broken down in two sub-processes: los finding and lo sequencing. Sequencing is usually performed by instructors, who create courses targeting generic profiles rather than personalized materials. This doctoral dissertation proposes an information model to frame the both processes and an evolutionary approach to automate this latter problem while, simultaneously, encourages reusability and interoperability by promoting standards. A model that enables automated curriculum sequencing is proposed. By means of interoperable competency records and lo metadata, the sequencing problem is turned into a constraint satisfaction problem. Particle swarm optimization (pso) and genetic algorithm (ga) agents are designed, built and tested in real and simulated scenarios. Results show both approaches succeed in all test cases, and that they handle reasonably computational complexity inherent to this problem, but pso approach outperforms
