Sin embargo, el mecanismo de activaci\u00f3n y el papel que juega en la transici\u00f3n g1\/s no se conoce y parte de nuestro trabajo ha sido estudiar la activaci\u00f3n y funci\u00f3n de pi3k en este proceso. Nuestras observaciones indican que ras y tyr- quinasas inducen la activaci\u00f3n de pi3k en la fase g1 tard\u00eda. La inhibici\u00f3n de la actividad de pi3k en este estad\u00edo provoca una disminuci\u00f3n en la expresi\u00f3n de c-myc y ciclina a, alteraci\u00f3n de la actividad cdk2 y reducci\u00f3n en el reclutamiento de mcm2 a la cromatina. La activaci\u00f3n condicional de c-myc en fase g1 tard\u00eda o la expresi\u00f3n de un mutante de c-myc resistente a degradaci\u00f3n contrarresta la inhibici\u00f3n de pi3k en fase g1 tard\u00eda y restaura la entrada en fase s. Por ello concluimos que las tyr quinasas y ras colaboran para inducir el segundo pico de activaci\u00f3n de pi3k en fase g1, el cual media el inicio de la s\u00edntesis de adn estabilizando la
