En la di\u00e1fisis del radio de conejos blancos de nueva zelanda, utilizando como membranas de osteopromoci\u00f3n aloinjertos a\u00f3rticos criopreservados y membranas sint\u00e9ticas de acido polil\u00e1ctico (reabsorbibles) y ptfee (no reabsorbibles). Se observ\u00f3 que la regeneraci\u00f3n \u00f3sea obtenida utilizando aloinjertos arteriales criopreservados tiende a ser mejor que con membranas sint\u00e9ticas, con una posible contribuci\u00f3n de la pared arterial a la regeneraci\u00f3n de hueso en el defecto, con excelente biocompatibilidad y osteointegraci\u00f3n. tambi\u00e9n se han comparado las caracter\u00edsticas f\u00edsicas de los tres tipos de membrana, objetivando que las membranas sint\u00e9ticas son m\u00e1s resistentes a la tracci\u00f3n, y menos porosas que la arteria criopreservada descongelada. adem\u00e1s se ha evaluado el efecto de la criopreservaci\u00f3n sobre la pared arterial,  observando que como consecuencia del proceso de criopreservaci\u00f3n disminuye la rugosidad de las l\u00e1minas el\u00e1sticas de la capa media de la pared arterial y aumenta la separaci\u00f3n entre las mismas, disminuyendo la resistencia a la tracci\u00f3n y ganando en elasticidad y plasticidad.  sin embargo no se observaron efectos significativos sobre la celularidad endotelial y de la capa media arterial, manteni\u00e9ndose la viabilidad celular tras el proceso de criopreservaci\u00f3n y posterior descongelaci\u00f3n, con crecimiento y multiplicaci\u00f3n celular en medio de cultivo con las mismas caracter\u00edsticas de las c\u00e9lulas que procediendo de arterias frescas han demostrado capacidad para experimentar diferenciaci\u00f3n condro y osteobl\u00e1stica y calcificaci\u00f3n de la matriz extracelular, y que podr\u00eda contribuir a la regeneraci\u00f3n \u00f3sea en el
