Se estima que debido al incremento de la demanda energ\u00e9tica mundial, los combustibles f\u00f3siles seguir\u00e1n siendo una de las principales fuentes de energ\u00eda en las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas, a pesar del incremento en el uso de energ\u00edas renovables. Por tanto, las tecnolog\u00edas de captura y almacenamiento de co2 ser\u00e1n necesarias para abastecer de energ\u00eda al planeta sin contribuir al calentamiento global.   el presente trabajo se enmarca dentro de la tem\u00e1tica de captura de co2 postcombusti\u00f3n mediante adsorci\u00f3n. En concreto, en la obtenci\u00f3n de adsorbentes espec\u00edficos para la captura de co2, a partir del desarrollo y modificaci\u00f3n superficial de s\u00f3lidos porosos de bajo coste.  en el transcurso de la investigaci\u00f3n se han evaluado distintos tipos de adsorbentes comerciales como adsorbentes de co2: al\u00famina activada y carbones activados. Tambi\u00e9n se han desarrollado carbones activados a partir de residuos de biomasa, c\u00e1scara de almendra y huesos de aceituna, mediante una etapa de carbonizaci\u00f3n seguida de activaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica con co2. Asimismo, se ha estudiado el efecto de la modificaci\u00f3n de la qu\u00edmica superficial de estos adsorbentes sobre la adsorci\u00f3n de co2. Para ello, se han empleado dos t\u00e9cnicas distintas: impregnaci\u00f3n con aminas y tratamientos con amoniaco gas. Los adsorbentes han sido caracterizados qu\u00edmica y texturalmente, y su capacidad de captura de co2 ha sido evaluada a presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica en una corriente de co2 puro, con la ayuda de un analizador termogravim\u00e9trico, en un intervalo de temperaturas comprendido entre 25 y 100 \u00c2\u00bac.  en \u00faltimo lugar, se ha estudiado el comportamiento de adsorbentes seleccionados en una mezcla binaria de co2 y n2, representativa de condiciones postcombusti\u00f3n. Para ello se ha dise\u00f1ado y puesto a punto un dispositivo experimental, que permite obtener las curvas de ruptura de los materiales, as\u00ed como ensayar distintas estrategias de regeneraci\u00f3n: reducci\u00f3n de presi\u00f3n (vsa), incremento de temperatura (tsa), o una combinaci\u00f3n de ambas (vtsa).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
