A pesar de las grandes p\u00e9rdidas patrimoniales que se han sucedido a lo largo de los siglos, las obras que han llegado hasta nosotros constituyen un legado nada desde\u00f1able que permite adentrarse en un mejor conocimiento de una peque\u00f1a parcela de la historia del arte espa\u00f1ol. De nuevo se vuelve a constatar que el panorama de la pintura espa\u00f1ola del quinientos es m\u00e1s variado de lo que pudiera pensarse.  ha primado el deseo de contribuir a desechar el patr\u00f3n mediante el cual las zonas perif\u00e9ricas act\u00faan como meras receptoras de las novedades, pues no se suele analizar c\u00f3mo y por qu\u00e9 se modifican estas novedades y las causas del triunfo de unas propuestas y no de otras.  un estudio como el que aqu\u00ed se ha llevado a cabo permite que nos elevemos a un problema conceptual m\u00e1s interesante: esto es, c\u00f3mo se recibe, se
