En primer lugar se realiz\u00f3 una aplicaci\u00f3n biotecnol\u00f3gica en la optimizaci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n de treonina en fermentaciones industriales de escherichia coli. A tal efecto, se ha desarrollado una estrategia aplicable a cualquier proceso de optimizaci\u00f3n de biomol\u00e9culas con valor a\u00f1adido mediante el cual se minimizan los efectos no deseados que puede conllevar una mutaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica. En segundo lugar, se ha realizado una aplicaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica en la que se ha descubierto, mediante el uso de una aproximaci\u00f3n metabol\u00f3mica basada en el uso de marcadores isotopom\u00e9ricos, que la activaci\u00f3n de macr\u00f3fagos mediada por tlr induce un aumento en el metabolismo celular. Este hecho es debido a que los ligandos que activan los macrofagos via tlr son capaces de inducir una mayor actividad de la enzima fosfofructoquinasa-2 y una mayor concentraci\u00f3n de fructosa-2,6-bisfosfato que conduce a un mayor flujo glucol\u00edtico. Para ahondar en la relaci\u00f3n entre metabolismo y se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n celular se construy\u00f3 un modelo matem\u00e1tico que permitia integrar datos de bioqu\u00edmica cl\u00e1sica y de distribuciones de marca isotopom\u00e9rica, proporcionando el fluxoma del sistema. El sistema estudiado fue la activaci\u00f3n, mediante el uso de lipopolisac\u00e1rido (lps), e inhibici\u00f3n selectiva, mediante  sl327, de la cascada de las mapk, una de las principales v\u00edas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n celular. Los resultados muestran que tanto la inhibici\u00f3n como la activaci\u00f3n de la cascada tienen un efecto claro en el flujo glucolitico y en el patr\u00f3n de disftribuci\u00f3n de flujos a nivel de piruvato, poniendo en evidencia la existencia de comunicaci\u00f3n o crosstalk entre metabolsimo y se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n celular. La estimulaci\u00f3n simult\u00e1nea con lps y sl327 indica que el efecto de estos dos compuestos tendria lugar en diferentes puntos de la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n celular y posiblemente de manera
