El objetivo de la tesis consiste en el dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de algoritmos de deteccion de bordes y seguimiento de objetos moviles, a partir de una secuencia de imagenes captada a traves de camaras, para aplicaciones de vision en tiempo real sobre el analisis de escenas bidimensionales, se dise\u00f1a un nuevo algoritmo detector de bordes, basado en la metodolog\u00eda que canny (1986) desarrolla para la obtencion de un filtro optimo continuo. A continuacion, se dise\u00f1a un nuevo algoritmo de seguimiento a un objeto movil, en dos dimensiones, en el que se admite el estudio de su rotacion.  mediante simulaciones, se demuestran los resultados obtenidos con los nuevos algoritmos dise\u00f1ados y, se describen las capacidades que poseen los nuevos algoritmos para ser implantados en estructuras
