En particular, se ha prestado un gran inter\u00e9s al uso de complejos quirales de cobre y plata como catalizadores por sus aspectos sint\u00e9tico, econ\u00f3mico y ecol\u00f3gico. As\u00ed, la reacci\u00f3n de kharasch-sosnovsky usando complejos de bisoxazolina-cobre como catalizadores permite la oxidaci\u00f3n enantioselectiva de enlaces c-h al\u00edlicos. Este proceso ha sido estudiado con m\u00e9todos de funcional de densidad (dft), lo que ha permitido proponer un nuevo mecanismo de reacci\u00f3n compatible con resultados experimentales. Las conclusiones obtenidas de este estudio y de los factores que influyen en el rendimiento y selectividad pueden permitir el desarrollo de condiciones de s\u00edntesis m\u00e1s eficientes.  la misma metodolog\u00eda ha sido usada para el estudio de los mecanismos de reacci\u00f3n de la inserci\u00f3n catalizada por cu de carbenos (formados a partir de diazocompuestos) en enlaces c-h y la formaci\u00f3n de silaciclopropanos catalizadas por ag. Estas reacciones son poco conocidas, por lo que se espera obtener informaci\u00f3n \u00fatil para un adecuado dise\u00f1o de las condiciones de reacci\u00f3n.  el trabajo se complet\u00f3 con el
