Su f\u00e1cil aislamiento y manejo, hacen de esta poblaci\u00f3n una herramienta extremadamente interesante en el estudio de la biolog\u00eda  de las c\u00e9lulas madre y de la implicaci\u00f3n de \u00e9stas en diversas patolog\u00edas \tel objeto del presente trabajo consiste en estudiar se\u00f1ales que regulen de manera coordinada la autorrenovaci\u00f3n y diferenciaci\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas madre mesenquimales. \tpara ello se analiz\u00f3 el efecto de se\u00f1ales extr\u00ednsecas, como los factores de crecimiento egf, pdgf y bfgf, y de  se\u00f1ales celulares intr\u00ednsecas, como las rutas de las mapks (erk, jnk y p38) sobre la proliferaci\u00f3n y diferenciaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas madre mesenquimales de m\u00e9dula \u00f3sea humana. Dicho an\u00e1lisis se llev\u00f3 a cabo mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de inhibidores qu\u00edmicos y vectores lentivirales y la tecnolog\u00eda del rna de interferencia. \tnuestros datos demuestran que la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de c-jun y del receptor de glucocorticoides juega un papel central en la regulaci\u00f3n de la proliferaci\u00f3n y diferenciaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas madre mesenquimales humanas. Estos resultados tienen implicaciones  en diversas patolog\u00edas humanas asociadas a las c\u00e9lulas madre mesenquimales, como es el caso de  la osteoporosis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
