Estas nuevas metodolog\u00edas se encuentran basadas en procesos fotoluminiscentes cl\u00e1sicos incorporando variaciones sobre estos que aumentan la selectividad y sensibilidad del proceso luminiscente.  as\u00ed por ejemplo, se proponen m\u00e9todos fosforescentes como la fosforescencia inducida por \u00e1tomo pesado o la fosforescencia estabilizada por micelas, t\u00e9cnicas las cuales aumentan de manera dr\u00e1stica el rendimiento cu\u00e1ntico de fosforescencia de los compuestos fosforescentes posibilitando su determinaci\u00f3n a temperatura amiente.  de la misma forma se proponen t\u00e9cnicas de fluorescencia sincr\u00f3nica que aumentan de forma dr\u00e1stica la selectividad de los m\u00e9todos posibilitando la resoluci\u00f3n de mezclas complejas de fluor\u00f3foros o determinaciones en matrices fluorescentes complejas como el suero o la orina sin etapas de separaci\u00f3n prev\u00eda.   por \u00faltimo, se ha abierto una nueva l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n dentro del grupo basada en la medida de los tiempos de vida de fluorescencia. Mediante esta nueva l\u00ednea ha sido posible determinar una mezcla de compuestos con ayuda del an\u00e1lisis multivariante. Adem\u00e1s se ha comenzado a emplear la regresi\u00f3n multivariante de segundo orden, empleando espectros tridimensionales de fosforescencia completos para resolver una mezcla de
