Se han sintetizado part\u00edculas de tama\u00f1o nanom\u00e9trico, mediante diferentes m\u00e9todos qu\u00edmicos, como son la s\u00edntesis mediante reducci\u00f3n por polioles, la descomposici\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica de organomet\u00e1licos y el m\u00e9todo de microemulsi\u00f3n inversa, empleando surfactantes de naturaleza diferente, ani\u00f3nica, cati\u00f3nica, as\u00ed como no i\u00f3nicos.  la s\u00edntesis de nanopart\u00edculas de hierro presenta una gran dificultad debido a que son inestables en ambientes aer\u00f3bicos, lo que hace necesario el empleo de un agente que las proteja. Para ello se han utilizado  matrices polim\u00e9ricas en el caso de reducci\u00f3n por polioles y descomposi\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica de organomet\u00e1licos, as\u00ed como las propias mol\u00e9culas del surfactante en el caso de microemulsiones inversas.  se han caracterizado las nanopart\u00edculas met\u00e1licas obtenidas desde el punto de vista de la morfolog\u00eda y el tama\u00f1o, habi\u00e9ndose obtenido, en l\u00edneas generales, nanopart\u00edculas esf\u00e9ricas de tama\u00f1o por debajo de los 15 nm. Se han determinado las propiedades magn\u00e9ticas habi\u00e9ndose obtenido, en algunos casos, comportamiento superparamagn\u00e9tico.  los resultados han permitido establecer como mejor metodolog\u00eda para la s\u00edntesis de part\u00edculas nanom\u00e9tricas, con alto contenido met\u00e1lico, gran respuesta magn\u00e9tica y morfolog\u00eda esf\u00e9rica,  la utilizaci\u00f3n de
