Adem\u00e1s se aborda el estudio de estabilidad y sistema de control a trav\u00e9s de la t\u00e9cnica de la funci\u00f3n descriptiva y la robustez ante incertidumbre tanto en la planta como en el controlador se ha abordado el desarrollo de herramientas de identificaci\u00f3n y control basadas en redes neuronales artificiales de sistemas univariables y su extensi\u00f3n a sistemas multivariables, donde las herramientas comerciales no cubren la gama de aplicaciones de control neuronal. tambi\u00e9n se ha realizado el an\u00e1lisis de estabilidad del sistema de control nominal a trav\u00e9s del empleo de la funci\u00f3n descriptiva multivariable, y se han derivado las condiciones de estabilidad a trav\u00e9s de la ecuaci\u00f3n del balance arm\u00f3nico. Igualmente se han caracterizado las incertidumbres asociadas en planta y controlador derivadas de la aproximaci\u00f3n subyacente al balance arm\u00f3nico y se ha desarrollado un criterio de robustez que suministra m\u00e1rgenes de estabilidad para la planta multivariable. Finalmente se ha aplicado la metodolog\u00eda descrita tanto a sistemas de control neuronal univariables, en concreto sobre un motor de corriente continua y una bomba de insulina, como a sistemas multivariables, en particular sobre una columna de destilaci\u00f3n binaria y un prototipo de bomba de insulina. Adem\u00e1s, se ha realizado el desarrollo de mecanismos de identificaci\u00f3n y control neuronal de columna de destilaci\u00f3n simulada bajo labview\u00c2\u00a9, con un interfaz de comunicaciones labview\u00c2\u00a9 &#8211; simulink\u00c2\u00a9. es de se\u00f1alar que los resultados derivados de la presente tesis doctoral se corresponden con parte de los objetivos del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n \u00abdesarrollo e integraci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas de control robusto neuro-borrosas en ingenier\u00eda de procesos qu\u00edmicos\u00bb dpi2005-08344 (2006-2008) en donde el autor
