La actividad enzim\u00e1tica de las cdks se regula por la fosforilaci\u00f3n de su bucle de activaci\u00f3n mediada por la prote\u00edna-quinasa que activa a las cdks (cak) y, principalmente por la interacci\u00f3n con las ciclinas. Las quinasas cdk1 y cdk2 tambi\u00e9n se pueden activar por las prote\u00ednas ringo\/speedy, las cuales fueron inicialmente identificadas como potentes inductores de la transici\u00f3n g2\/m en oocitos de xenopus laevis. Trabajos posteriores demostraron que la prote\u00edna xringo es un importante regulador de la progresi\u00f3n mei\u00f3tica, aunque se desconoce c\u00f3mo la prote\u00edna xringo induce la
