Se trata de una arquitectura, basada en tecnolog\u00edas de comunicaci\u00f3n estandarizadas de banda ancha, baja latencia y con soporte a la calidad de servicio, y que  es la base para avanzados sistemas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n y de gesti\u00f3n de tr\u00e1fico ferroviarios. El an\u00e1lisis de rendimiento de la arquitectura llevado a cabo en plataforma de simulaci\u00f3n muestra como la misma atiende los principales indicadores de rendimiento para los diferentes servicios de informaci\u00f3n ferroviarios en  estudio (etcs (european train control system), voip y video vigilancia en movimiento en sentido tren-tierra). Diferentes casos de uso son propuestos y analizados. Se ha implementado tambi\u00e9n en plataforma de simulaci\u00f3n de prop\u00f3sito general la caracterizaci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico etcs (european train control system). Esta tesis tambi\u00e9n recoge la propuesta y validaci\u00f3n de un mecanismo de traspaso de celda en tecnolog\u00eda ieee802.16 especialmente adaptado al entorno ferroviario, el rmpa handover
