En este apartado, cobra especial importancia el complejo qrs, que se utilizar\u00e1 para la segmentaci\u00f3n de latidos del electrocardiograma (ecg).  a continuaci\u00f3n se justifica la aplicaci\u00f3n de la wt (en sus formas continua y discreta) en el \u00e1mbito del an\u00e1lisis de se\u00f1ales. Adem\u00e1s, se define la terminolog\u00eda utilizada durante la descomposici\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al ecg tanto en funciones scaling como en funciones wavelet. Todo ello nos permite realizar un an\u00e1lisis multiresoluci\u00f3n sobre las funciones derivadas de la descomposici\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al ecg que se aplica, entre otras cosas, para: (i) la segmentaci\u00f3n del ecg en latidos; (ii) la identificaci\u00f3n de sus ondas; (iii) la identificaci\u00f3n de diferentes patrones cardiop\u00e1ticos; (iv) la compresi\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al ecg; (v) etc.  finalmente, se desarrollan algunas de las aplicaciones de la wt sobre se\u00f1ales ecg: (i) la segmentaci\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al ecg mediante la detecci\u00f3n de complejos qrs; (ii) la identificaci\u00f3n y segmentaci\u00f3n de las ondas t; (iii) la identificaci\u00f3n de alternancias de onda t (t-wave alternans, (twa)); y (iv) la estimaci\u00f3n de la diferencia de niveles el\u00e9ctricos en se\u00f1ales ecg con twa. Se incluye tambi\u00e9n un estudio comparativo de compresi\u00f3n de se\u00f1ales ecg usando diferentes wavelet madre atendiendo a diferentes cardiopat\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
