The first two are about labor market discrimination and the last essay is about downward wage rigidity. in the first chapter i proposed and estimated an equilibrium search model using matched employer-employee data to study the extent to which wage diferentials between men and women can be explained by diferences in productivity, disparities in friction patterns or wage discrimination. in the second chapter i studied discrimination against immigrant in germany.
