Por un lado, la fruta produce peque\u00f1as concentraciones de etileno que indican su estado de maduraci\u00f3n, y por otro lado, se a\u00f1ade etileno para acelerar el proceso de maduraci\u00f3n. en esta tesis, se ha desarrollado un espectr\u00f3metro \u00f3ptico multicanal para medir de forma continua la concentraci\u00f3n de etileno en las c\u00e1maras frigor\u00edficas. Se han dise\u00f1ado y fabricado componentes \u00f3pticos y la correspondiente electr\u00f3nica de amplificaci\u00f3n y procesado de se\u00f1al. El resultado es un espectr\u00f3metro de gases basado en una arquitectura ndir. en la tendencia actual de integraci\u00f3n y miniaturizaci\u00f3n, se ha dise\u00f1ado un novedoso detector ir como componente del sistema ndir. El detector consta de una matriz 2&#215;2 de termopilas, filtros \u00f3pticos para seleccionar las bandas de absorci\u00f3n y una matriz 2&#215;2 de lentes de fresnel fabricadas en un mismo sustrato de sillico. La etapa electr\u00f3nica est\u00e1 formada por una parte de pre-amplificaci\u00f3n anal\u00f3gica y otra parte digital basada en un lock-in. el instrumento se ha testeado a nivel de laboratorio y simulando condiciones reales. El resultado es que el espectr\u00f3metro es capaz de detectar 30ppm de etileno, que es una concentraci\u00f3n suficiente para detectar el envejecimiento de la fruta y 160ppm de amon\u00edaco, que
